This story from Mark 4:35-41 is more than just a dramatic miracle — it’s a deep picture of life. Often, we find ourselves in situations where the storms rage fiercely around us. The wind howls, the waves crash into our boat, and it feels like we’re moments away from sinking. Like the disciples, we panic, fear grips us, and we wonder if God even notices what we’re going through.
But this passage reminds us that Jesus is in the boat with us. Even if it looks like he’s sleeping, he has not abandoned us. With just a word, he can calm the fiercest storm. His power is unmatched, and his love for us is unshakeable.
It also challenges us about faith:
“Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
Jesus doesn’t promise a life without storms — but he does promise his presence, his peace, and his ultimate control over all things, no matter how chaotic it seems.
This message of calm in the midst of the storm has inspired us deeply. It’s why we decided to set the price of our watch at 440 Swiss Francs, as a direct reference to Mark 4:40. Every time you check the time, may it be a quiet reminder that even when life feels like it’s filling with water, Jesus is right there, fully in control — able to stand and speak peace over your storms.
Our story
why I created GOD FIRST
I've been an artist for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I would get lost in sketchbooks, obsess over shapes and balance, and dream up ideas that didn’t yet exist — not just to create, but to express something deeper.
Design wasn’t just a passion. It was my language. Over the years, I turned that into a calling — constantly crafting, building, and giving life to ideas that mattered.
But then came the moment that changed everything.
I had an accident — physically painful, but even more so mentally. I found myself broken, afraid, and lost in a fog of uncertainty. The world I had built around creativity and control suddenly collapsed. Fear became a constant companion. Everything I used to lean on no longer held me.
And then… something unexpected happened. In the silence, I found God.
It wasn’t dramatic at first. No lightning bolts, no voices from above. Just a whisper — of peace, of presence. Day by day, that whisper grew. And in that space, I learned to let go of control and trust. Slowly, the fear faded. Slowly, I stood up again. Not just physically — but with a new foundation under my feet.
And that’s when GOD FIRST was born.
This brand is more than watches. It's a movement. A message. A reminder that no matter how deep the water gets, you cannot fall deeper than into His hands. That when you put God first, everything else follows — clarity, strength, purpose.
I want to create something beautiful, something lasting — a product that could carry that truth. And as a Swiss born and someone who has always been drawn to precise craftsmanship and design, the watch is the perfect symbol
I created this brand — not to preach, not to convert, but to encourage. We’re not missionaries. We’re creators. Believers. And we believe GOD FIRST is the world’s first watch brand built on Christian values — not as decoration, but as a foundation.
